**Crematory Operator Assistant – Pet Aquamation Center** 3055 New Street Oceanside, NY 11572 $19/hour Full\-Time \| Monday–Friday \| 7:30 AM–3:30 PM Fast\-growing eco\-friendly pet aquamation center seeking a *compassionate, dependable, and hardworking team member* to assist with pet aftercare services in a clean and professional environment. No experience required. Training provided for the right candidate. **Responsibilities** * Assist with aquamation and pet aftercare processes * Operate aquamation equipment safely * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of facility and equipment **daily** * Follow safety procedures and wearing personal protective equipment * ***MUST handle pets with dignity, compassion, and respect*** **Qualifications** * Comfortable working around deceased pets * Comfortable with heat, cold, and strong odors * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required * Ability to lift to **100 lbs**. occasionally * Strong attention to detail and reliable work ethic * High school diploma or equivalent required **Preference** * Candidates who reside near the crematory are preferred * Prior cremation or cemetery experience is a plus * Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply Pay: $19\.00 per hour Benefits: * Employee discount * Paid time off Application Question(s): * Must have own vehicle to begin work at 7:30am * Ability to assist with lifting 100 pounds occasionally Education: * High school or equivalent (Required) Language: * English (Required) Shift availability: * Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute: * Oceanside, NY 11572 (Required) Work Location: In person
