Our mission is to honor each pet with dignity while supporting families during difficult times. **Position Overview** We are seeking a **reliable and detail\-oriented Cremation Technician (Contractor)** to assist with pet pickups and cremation services. This is a **flexible, per\-case role** ideal for someone who can work independently and take pride in meaningful work. **Compensation** * **$55 per case (pets under \~60 lbs)** * **$85 per case (large dogs)** * Additional pay for after\-hours pickups and extended travel Hourly range listed on Indeed is an estimate. Compensation is primarily per case.**Responsibilities** * Pick up pets from veterinary clinics and residences * Transport pets safely and respectfully * Perform cremation services (training provided if needed) * Ensure proper identification and tracking of each pet * Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas * Return cremated remains for final processing **Schedule** * Flexible, per\-case basis * No fixed schedule * Work is assigned as cases arise **Requirements** * Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle * Ability to lift 75\+ lbs * Strong attention to detail (critical for identification and tracking) * Comfortable handling deceased pets * Dependable, professional, and able to work independently **Preferred (Not Required)** * Veterinary, kennel, or animal care experience * Experience with cremation or similar hands\-on work **Important Note** This role involves handling deceased pets and supporting a sensitive service.
