**Benefits:** * 401(k) matching * Flexible schedule * Health insurance * Paid time off **Responsibilities** Headwaters Hospice and Palliative Care is searching for a Chaplain with hospice experience to join our team. The Chaplain is a member of the interdisciplinary team and reports to the Director of Clinical Services. * Providing direct spiritual support and/or counsel to patients/families. * Working with staff, clergy and community groups to enhance the spiritual needs of patients/families. * Providing consultation and education for patients/families and interdisciplinary team members. * Providing bereavement follow\-up services as defined by Hospice. * Maintaining proper records of visits to patients/families. **Education/Experience** * Must be ordained or have ecclesiastical endorsement from the individual's denomination and have been approved to function in a pastoral capacity. * Must have experience working with patients and families dealing with life threatening illness and/or death. **Qualifications** * Communicate effectively orally and in writing. * Excellent customer service skills and be able to communicate with various stakeholders. * Must have excellent organization, and be able to multitask * Must be able to function in a highly stressful environment * Have a general understanding of hospice and home health services.
