**Job description** Job Description: Cemetery Maintenance Crew / Park Foreman Hauck Enterprises is seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Lufkin, Texas. As a Cemetery Crew Member, you will be responsible for various tasks related to ground maintenance, landscape maintenance, backhoe operations, and tractor/trailer operations. Your primary duties will include assisting with burial and entombment set up, maintaining the grass, installing headstones and fulfilling park maintenance requests. Responsibilities: \- Assisting in leading the crew to accomplish daily tasks in the absence of the park superintendent. \-Operate a backhoe in preparation for burial services. \- Install headstones and monuments, following proper procedures and guidelines. \- Assist in the preparation and set up for burials and entombments, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready for use. \-Maintain the cemetery's grounds using zero turn mowers and weed eaters to cut the grass and trim around monuments and sidewalks. \- Perform park maintenance requests that ensure the overall upkeep of the cemetery grounds and memorials. \- Operate tractors and trailers to transport equipment or materials as required. \- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements: \- Previous experience in ground maintenance, landscape maintenance, or related field is required. \- Proficiency in operating backhoes, tractors with trailers, zero turn lawnmowers, weed eaters and blowers are essential. \- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. \-Ability to lift up to or over 75lbs \- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in burial and headstone installation. \- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. \- Self\-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. \- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. \- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
