Cemetery Groundskeeper

Plum Creek Cemetery is hiring for experienced landscape workers. Wages to be determined $18\-19 hr. Landscape experience or cemetery experience is required. The right candidate will be reliable and prompt. This position is a year round full time position. We are looking for a energetic candidate with a hard working mentality. Position will be full time 40 hrs/week plus possible overtime. Occasional Saturday overtime work is required for funerals. We work in all weather situations, you will always get your 40 hours a week. We pride ourselves as being the finest cemetery in the Pittsburgh area. We have new equipment, a new maintenance facility and we take care of our employees. An annual wage increase will come every year. Job requires heavy lifting of up to 80lbs and the use of full mobility. Job requirements will include but not Limited to back filling graves, assisting in digging graves, cremation hole digging, foundation digging, shoveling, string trimming, grass cutting, snow shoveling, leaf blowing concrete work and any other general cemetery upkeep. The position is full time with a 90 day probationary period. The cemetery also offers nine paid holidays through out the year, 6\.5 days of PTO and 5 days of vacation. Uniforms and boots will also be provided after probationary period. This is a great opportunity to enter into a very stable industry with guaranteed work.
