Cemetery Groundskeeper

Seasonal outdoor work at Mr Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Season runs April 17th to mid\- November. Work starts at 7:30am and ends at 4:00pm weekdays. Weather permitting. Some weekends or late evenings required. Grounds maintenance includes mowing, trimming, leaf blowing, and general maintenance. Must be able to lift 50\-75 lbs. May need assistance in burial setup. We will train on the equipment. Credentials needed: \-routine use of cord trimmer, push mower, backpack blower, gator vehicles, and zero turn lawn mower \- assist with general maintenance, stone repair, and installation, foundations, pruning trees, cleaning vehicles, and assisting with burials as needed \- other related duties as assigned \-ability to lift 50\-75 lbs \-must be able to bend, walk, and stand for extended periods of time on uneven hills or slick surfaces \-must be able to work in heat or rainy conditions \- must be dependable, team oriented, and able to follow instructions \-must be 17 years or older \-drivers license not required \-steel toe boots required Job Types: Full\-time, Temporary, Seasonal Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: * 401(k) People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
