As a Cemetery Grass Crew Member, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of cemeteries through grass cutting, edging, and general lawn care tasks. This is a unique opportunity for individuals who are passionate about preserving the sanctity and serenity of these sacred spaces. Responsibilities: \- Perform grass cutting, edging, and trimming tasks in cemeteries using various equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and edgers. \- Ensure the proper maintenance and care of equipment, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the supervisor. \- Collect and dispose of grass clippings and other yard waste in designated areas. \- Assist in the preparation of cemetery grounds for special events or occasions. \- Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks. \- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times to ensure a safe working environment. Requirements: \- High school diploma or equivalent. \-Ability to lift up to or over 75 lbs. \- Previous experience in landscaping or lawn care is preferred but not mandatory. \- Knowledge and understanding of grass cutting techniques, equipment operation, and general lawn care practices. \- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physically demanding environments. \- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for maintaining the pristine appearance of cemeteries. \- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient completion of tasks within deadlines. \- Respectful and compassionate attitude towards the sensitivity of working in a cemetery setting. \- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. \- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting. \- Effective communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively. \- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Additional Information: \- This position is full\-time and may require occasional weekend or overtime work during peak seasons or special events. \- Competitive compensation package including hourly wage up to $17\.00 an hour and benefits.
