Job Description: Cemetery Grounds Crew Alabama Cemetery Services is seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to join our team at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama. As a Cemetery Grounds Crew Member, you will be responsible for various tasks related to ground maintenance, landscape maintenance, and tractor/trailer operations. Your primary duties will include caring for the cemetery grounds using zero turn mowers and weed eaters, assisting with burial and entombment set up, installing headstones, and fulfilling park maintenance requests. Responsibilities: \-Mowing and maintaining the cemetery grounds with zero turn mowers, weed eaters, and blowers. \- Assist in the preparation and set up for burials and entombments, ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are ready for use. \- Install headstones and monuments, following proper procedures and guidelines. \- Perform park maintenance requests, including mowing, trimming, weeding, and general upkeep of the cemetery grounds and memorials. \- Operate tractors and trailers to transport equipment or materials as required. \- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a secure work environment. Requirements: \- Previous experience in ground maintenance, landscape maintenance, or related field is required. \- Proficiency in operating tractors with trailers and zero turn mowers is essential. \- Strong physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. \-Ability to lift up to or over 75lbs \- Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in burial and headstone installation. \- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. \- Self\-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision. \- Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. \- Effective communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
