Cemetery Ground Maintenance

**Definition** To perform a wide variety of work at Eastside Memorial Park to assist in maintaining grounds, and help with any new projects that arises on the premises. Eastside is a family run business and prides on having everyone be a team player, to provide the best service possible to the families. **Days \& Hours** *Monday\-Friday*\-\-8:30am\-4:30pm with ½ Hour for lunch *Saturday and Sunday* required if a service arises * Overtime: 1 ½ times will be paid for Saturday \& Sunday after 8 hours of work in a given day **General Job Responsibilities** Responsible for the complete maintenance of the park and adjoining garage * Operate and maintain Toro Riding Lawn Mower * Mowing of lawns during the growing season with Toro Riding Mower and Snapper Walk behind mower (every Thursday) * Trimming with string trimmer including markers, hubs, private gardens * Full Funeral Service: removal of sod, digging of graves, setting up equipment for services, backfill graves \& replace sod * Install Bronze/ Granite memorials (grave markers) * Chemical spraying and hand removal of weeds * Thatching and aeration of lawns * Trimming trees * Picking up trash in office and all park receptacles every Friday * Clean Vehicles every Friday or when there is a service * Mechanical Abilities: Service \& Maintain clean equipment after every use * Clean up shop once a week * Any other project that is assigned to you by Owner **Funeral Rules** * Dress Professionally in uniform provided by Eastside * Service must be completely set up an hour prior to the funeral time: chairs, canopy, grave site * Respect all families \& fellow Eastside team members **Rules** * Possessing, consuming or being under the influence of alcoholic beverages or narcotics on company property is subject to disciplinary action, ranging from a warning to discharge * Use of cell phone or company phone during working hours is not allowed except when an emergency arises * No items or materials shall be removed from the premises without prior approval by Irene **Pay Rate Starting at** $19\.00/ hour all year round paid bi\-weekly by check **Apply** Send in Resume \& Cover Letter Job Type: Full\-time Job Type: Full\-time Pay: From $19\.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Ability to Relocate: * Minden, NV 89423: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
