Lincoln Memorial University is seeking an **Anatomy Lab Technician** to support the daily operations of the Anatomy Laboratory at the **DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) – Orange Park campus**.
This position plays an essential role in supporting medical education by assisting faculty and students with laboratory activities, maintaining anatomy lab facilities, and helping manage anatomical materials used for instruction.
Position Overview
The Anatomy Lab Technician assists with the **daily operations of the Anatomy Lab and related facilities**. The technician will work directly with **embalmed human anatomical materials** and help ensure the lab environment supports high\-quality medical education.
This is a **full\-time, non\-exempt position** typically scheduled Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend hours required to support lab activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist with preparation and maintenance of the anatomy laboratory
* Support faculty and students during anatomy labs and instructional activities
* Handle and manage embalmed human anatomical materials in accordance with safety and regulatory standards
* Maintain lab equipment, supplies, and facilities
* Assist with lab organization, cleaning, and compliance with safety protocols
* Support anatomy department operations as needed
Required Qualifications
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Background in **biology, healthcare, or mortuary science**
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in **Biological Sciences or related field**
* Experience working in an **anatomy lab or similar laboratory environment**
